What if you didn’t have to be in pain? What if you were just… well?
What if every ache, pain, and ailment was a message from your soul?
A message of resistance…
I was telling my hairdresser the other day about my ‘angry ovary’…
As you do…
I’d been doing some pent up anger release work, and while I’d relieved a lot of tension within my body, my left ovary still felt ‘angry’. It caught my attention because that’s where my endometriosis started back in 1991. In 2009, with the help of my kinesiologist, I was able to let go of a lot of hurt and anger I was holding onto after becoming unexpectedly estranged from my dad back in 1990. During those sessions, I found forgiveness, my endo disappeared, I regained my health and became a fitness instructor.
I found alignment with health and being well.
I thought I’d moved on and released everything, but apparently I’m still holding onto a little something in there. It has me curious to discover what past emotion I’m finally ready to release. It will show itself soon enough. It’s already started the process by making itself known, which means it’s time for me to sit up and take notice.
By the time the symptoms start showing, things have been going on for some time.
Now is a really good time to become aware of your emotions. 2020 is throwing us a lot of curveballs. It’s a time to acknowledge how you’re feeling… that you’re sad, angry, frustrated, feeling helpless… and to allow these emotions to be there. Allow yourself to seek help and to work through these emotions instead of suppressing them, like society tells us to do.
Any time is a good time to do that, but in 2020, it’s more important than ever.
Each ache, pain, ailment, and even accidents have their own secret message. Where it appears. How it appears. When you understand how it works, it’s fascinating.
For instance… Do all of your ailments appear on one side of your body? Do you have an area of your body that’s constantly giving you grief?
The body is an amazing barometer. Delve deep and you’ll find out a lot about yourself.
The left side of the body represents yin energy, the feminine, and the past. The right side is yang, the masculine, and the future.
Then there’s the different areas the chakras represent. Your body is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to healing.
That’s not to say there isn’t a place in this world for modern medicine. It definitely has its place when it’s used in conjunction with healing. It’s when someone becomes dependant on it that it becomes an issue.
Always seek medical advice for unexplained symptoms. When you know what’s going on, you’ll know where to look for the emotions behind them, and you can use this as a complimentary supplement to your healing.
I was surprised when I really stopped to look at how much anger I was holding in my body. Suppressed anger, even from what would have seemed like small, non-events to others, but were enough for me to feel unheard. It was good to release it.
It’s time for me to stand up and start speaking out.
Now, I’m off to spend a bit more time with my inner child and find out why she’s hanging out in my ovary.
