Manifesting seems like this mystical, magical thing that’s available to those who catch a lucky break. It’s not. It’s something that’s available to all of us if we take the time to understand the process.
From the day we’re born, the programming for our path in life begins. We learn from those around us what we need to do to fit into this world… their version of this world. What we learn is limited to what the small circle of people we associate know.
We’re told to stop dreaming. “Save yourself from disappointment!” they chime in unison!
The only disappointing thing about that statement is the disappointment that not making ourselves available to possibly experience the disappointment brings to our lives.
It keeps us playing safe and stops us from taking a leap of faith.
We’re taught to disconnect from our source and to live in ‘the real world’. The real world of sheep that are asleep. Problem is, the real world is not the real world. It’s the version of the world you’re taught to see and it’s limited.
The real world is inside of you. That real world has every conceiveable possibility you can think of available to you. The real world you live in is the one you choose to focus on, and that focus comes from the limiting beliefs you’ve been led to believe.
To manifest the life you desire, you have to get back to the basics. Back to what you truly believe, not what someone else has taught you to believe, especially if it’s different to everyone around you. You have to get back to the basics of nature and you have to get back to the basics of who you truly are.
Manifesting what you want requires getting back to the basics of your connection to self.
You’re manifesting every single day of your life. The reason why you’re not manifesting what you want is because you’re manifesting from ‘the program’ that’s been instilled in you. The beliefs of others and their fears. When you have manifested what you want, that’s come from a moment of your connection to self.
I discovered years ago what it took to manifest what I wanted in life. It wasn’t something I was taught. I just instinctively knew. I didn’t even know it was a thing. All I knew was I could create magic! But what I didn’t realise was that while I could manifest what I wanted in life, I was also manifesting what I didn’t want in life.
It took 18 years of illness, in and out of hospital, operations and medications, to discover I was creating this pain within my body. It took me until I was 39 to realise this. The moment, and I mean split second moment, it finally dawned on me, I released it and my body started to heal instantly. I felt a shift move across my body and I could feel the healing begin.
That was in 2009 and the illness has long gone. What happened in that split second? I found forgiveness for pain estrangement from my father had caused me. I saw the situation in a different light and realised that I had been looking at it through the lense of what I’d been taught to believe instead of seeing the situation as part of life’s bigger picture process.
It wasn’t my dad or the estrangement that caused anything. It was my expectations and beliefs of how things should be that created it.
It doesn’t discount the pain I felt loosing someone who meant so much to me, but looking back I can see now how it all fits into the bigger picture. We’re taught that family is everything, but in the end, every single person in your life, including family, is someone who’s passing through with something to teach you, and a life of their own. You’re also in their life for as long as you need to be with something to teach them. Some are there for the long haul, while some will make their exit sooner.
There is no point holding on to something that you’re being called to let go of.
Illness is simply another form of manifestation of not dealing with an emotional root cause. Suppressing anger and not allowing things to fall apart. Holding on for dear life for something that’s meant to fall away. Giving too much of yourself and not receiving enough in return.
Getting back to the basics of connection to self is a bumpy road. It’s not all glitter and roses. You’re shedding beliefs while people and things that aren’t serving you fall away. They fall away to make room for the new.
It’s painful, but it’s worth it. The freedom to be who you’re truly meant to be, which means you can be of more benefit to others. Life is easier.
Get excited when things go wrong. Allow things to fall apart. Feel alive with the new possilibities that are presenting themselves to you.
So, is manifesting only available for the lucky few. No. It’s available to everyone. The secret is learning how to harness your powerful energy and direct it in the right direction. It takes work to break through the limiting beliefs you’ve been taught to create new ones, but if you’re prepared to put in the work and ride the storm to break the cycle, you can change your life. Everything is a choice.
