My Life is the Way It is Because of Them!

It can be easy to believe that your life is the way it is because of other people…

Because of what they did or are doing to you…

Because of the situations they’ve caused…

Because they’re making your life so difficult…

And yes…you are starting from the place of the life you’re born into but honestly, regardless of how great you think someone else has it because they appear to have been born into a ‘better’ life than you, everyone has their issues…

What sets people apart is whether or not they CHOOSE to stay in victim mode OR whether or not they CHOOSE to take responsibility for their life…

When you CHOOSE to take responsibility for your life, you accept that your life is the way it is because you have created it that way…

No one else is to blame…

Blaming yourself is not the answer, either…

Taking responsibility is the only way out…

Deciding to change the beliefs you’ve been led to believe up to this point…

This applies to every area of your life…

Your career…

Your health…

Your financial situation…

Your relationships…

I suffered for 18 years with stage four endometriosis because I chose to believe what the doctors had told me…

That I had an incurable disease…

According to them, I would have it for the rest of my life…

I had five surgeries to remove the results of what my specialist said was the worst case he’d ever seen…

I was taking horrendous hormonal medication with horrible side effects…

I was also hanging on desperately to abandonment issues to do with my Dad…

Until one day, I’d had enough…

I was guided to an amazing kinesiologist who asked me, ‘Do you like being sick?’

While it seemed like a ridiculous question, she asked me to dig deep to really ask myself the question and to answer it honestly…

It was in that moment I surrendered and admitted to myself that I loved being sick…

I loved that it meant no responsibility…that it gave me an excuse not to commit to anything…

I admitted to myself that it was a safety net I had created and that I had a fear of being well…

I was also holding onto the hurt my father had caused because I was relying on him for my happiness…

But by now, I’d had enough…

I released all of it and let it go…

I let go of the need to hold onto the disease…

I let go of the need for the support of my Dad…

And it was in that split second my body began to heal…

I could feel the shift move across my body…

And THAT is exactly how much effort it takes to change your life…

NO ENERGY WHATSOEVER

It takes no energy to turn it around and to create something completely different…

All it takes is for you to CHOOSE to take responsibility and to CHOOSE to think and do things differently…

For the 18 years that I was unwell I was living with a victim mindset…

Sure, I created some amazing things career wise and relationship wise, but I allowed my health to suffer…

The moment I chose to change my mindset, to take responsibility for the way my health was and to choose to trust in my own personal power was the moment my life changed forever…

Literally in a split second…

I can pinpoint that split second…

So, don’t tell me how hard you’ve got it and that you’re suffering because of someone else because I can tell you now, you are the sole creator of your reality and you have the power within you to change it…

Right now…right this very second…

All you have to do is CHOOSE…

CHOOSE to admit why you’re holding on to the struggle…

CHOOSE to admit which beliefs are blocking you from moving forward and making the decision to do what you need to do to push through the fears to work through them and change them…

CHOOSING to do the mindset work daily to change your beliefs and thought processes…

This process doesn’t just apply to health…it applies to every single area of your life…

And yes, it is possible to have your shit together in one area of your life and not in another…

All that’s standing in your way is your decision whether or not to stay in victim mindset or to step up and to take responsibility for your life…

Ask yourself, what benefit are you getting from your life being the way that it is…

Being broke…

Being in a less than desirable relationship…

Having less than vibrant health…

Doing the daily grind for work…

What benefit do you get from enduring the struggle each day?

And if your answer is, ‘There is no benefit! I can’t help my situation!’ it means there’s more work to be done…

That’s victim mindset 101 and until you’re prepared to look beneath the surface and be honest with yourself about your truth, nothing will change…

For your life to change, you have to take responsibility for it and then do what you need to do to change it…

It’s as simple as that.
