How Do You Get Your Fitness in the FLOW?

Mary* decides she’d like to get fitter, so she goes outside and starts running.

Mary hates running, but she does it anyway because that’s what she believes she’s supposed to do – get her heart rate up by running.

She doesn’t enjoy it one bit.

Mary decides that exercise is too hard and not for her and gives up.

Mary is NOT in the FLOW. Mary is offering RESISTANCE.

Jo* decides she’d like to lose some weight, so she decides to go on a diet.

Jo loves food, but she takes the advice of her new diet plan and starts denying herself food that she loves because that’s what she believes she’s supposed to do – cut out everything that’s enjoyable.

She doesn’t enjoy it one bit.

Jo decides that losing weight is too hard and not for her and gives up.

Jo is NOT in the FLOW. Jo is offering RESISTANCE.

This is a vicious cycle that so many people are caught up in because of the misleading information that’s put out there by the media and the fitness industry that being fit and healthy is hard.

It’s a shame because being fit and healthy couldn’t be simpler.

Your body is a product of nature so doesn’t it make sense that if we live according to the laws of natures, everything must flow?

Nature didn’t intend for anything to be difficult. Nature intends for everything to flow.

Man is the one that makes things difficult, forever banging his head against a brick wall and creating problems for himself when a simple change of focus would make all the difference.

Getting into the flow is as simple as getting right back to basics and taking the path of least resistance.

You know you’re offering resistance when you feel like you’re banging your head against a brick wall, just like Mary felt when she went for a run when she doesn’t really want to run or when Jo decided denying herself her favourite food was her answer.

Eat, sleep, breathe and move according to the laws of nature and you can’t go wrong.
