Do You Say Yes and Feel Like Crap or Do You Say No and Risk Being Called a Bitch?

In other words…

Are you a people pleaser OR do you tune in and listen to your heart and do what’s right for you?

Interesting weekend…

I’m involved in the running of a bed and breakfast…

Honestly, 99.5% of our guests are wonderful people…

Courteous and respectful with amazing life stories to tell…

But occasionally that 0.5% slip through and leave you wondering how on earth they managed to get through your energetic force field and what the hell you did to attract them in the first place…

Anyway…

Here are the rules –

– Check in is 2pm & check out is 10am – pretty standard rules across the board and there for a reason
– Minimum age is 16 when accompanied by an adult at all times

This guest turns up at 11am on Saturday and wants to leave her 16 year old daughter with us to study while she goes out for the day…

She also wants to leave her daughter with us for the whole day on Sunday…

I said no…

Me saying no to chaperoning her daughter because it would interrupt my plans interrupted her plans…

Turns out that makes me a rude bitch…

It’s a good thing for all that I left shortly after for my mini weekend music tour…

When you’re saying yes to someone else make sure you’re not saying no to yourself…

Even if it means they think you’re a selfish bitch…

It’s the one who’s asking you to say yes to them and no to yourself who is being selfish…

They’re just not happy because they’re not getting their own way and you’re not letting them trample all over you…

Say yes to yourself…always…

Because when you say no to yourself…

You’re saying yes to illness…

You’re saying yes to not having the life that you want…

You’re saying yes to being unhappy…

If you say yes when you want to say no, you will feel like crap…

If you say yes simply because you’re trying to avoid confrontation, standing up for yourself might make you feel uncomfortable, but if you truly want to access your personal power, YOU HAVE TO START DOING WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU AND START SAYING NO…

Stop worrying about what other people think…

If saying no is the right thing for you….SAY NO AND STAND IN YOUR POWER…

Standing in your power doesn’t make you a bitch…

It means you have respect for yourself…

It means you value yourself…

You value your health…

YOU VALUE FEELING GOOD THAT YOU’VE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR YOU

As long as you’re a people pleaser you will continue to attract people who will suck the life out of you…

STAND UP AND LEARN TO SAY NO.
