Finding the Balance

Finding the BalanceSomeone asked me at yoga this week how it was that my balance was so good…Apparently, if you can stand on one leg for longer than 30 seconds after the age of 45 you’re doing really well…I’m 47 and I’ll stand on one leg for as long as you like…

It always amazes me when I see young people…or anyone, for that matter…struggling with their balance and they just laugh it off and say, ‘Oh, my balance is REALLY bad!’

Well, of course it is…if that’s what you keep telling yourself…

It BAFFLES me as to why people don’t think it’s important…

Good balance IS important AND you can improve your balance…
